My Husband and I live in Portland Oregon and have three 4 month old hens. We are new at this and are learning as we go along. We love our little ladies and want to do everything right for them. One of our hens has developed a bump on her head. I am worried about her and want to find someone to examine her. Any suggestions for a good chicken vet?

I hope you enjoy your chickens. I don't know any vets even here in Syr. NY. That said keep in mind that chickens aren't like dogs or cats or even mice. They are farm animals and as such don't have the longevity one would hope for. Keeping them for pets is not a good idea though some do.
As for the bump try a heat pack three times a day if it feels like a cyst. Could be she just got pecked and got an infection. I wish you all the best.

I've been checking around too (no chickens yet - just planning for them at the moment). I don't know for a fact that they'll take chickens, but here's the only avian vet clinic I found in the metro area through Google.

You might also try calling places on this list - they're vets with avian experience. Even if they don't treat chickens, they might be able to refer you to someone who does.

I'd also check with places like the Urban Farm Store - they might have someone they refer to, given that they sell chicks and provide all sorts of advice on them.
