Wow! You sound like many of us who "jumped right in!" I hope the coop you got was big!! Full size chickens need approximately 4 sq ft per bird in the coop and 10 sq ft per bird in the run. (Multiply l x w) Coops can be expensive and one thing you will notice on here is that everyone wishes their coop was bigger!

Remember: Dry, Draft-Free, Fresh Air, Food, Fresh Water, Space, Light, Cleanliness, Protection, and Biosecurity!!!

There is lots of great information on this forum, and the people here are awesome!!! Take your time, go through the "Learning Center" section and then feel free to ask away!!!
