After a bunch a research we finally got 6 little mixed bantams today. Super excited to finally have some chicks! Worried one might be a rooster, but we'll see in a few weeks.

My big question is, what breeds did we get. I know it is easier to tell once they actually start looking like chickens, but would love some guesses! There's 3 different types (though I'm thinking the yellow headed and black/ copper headed are the same just different color variations)

My breed guess; Adorable! I know, not much help :p However, if you post some pictures on the Breed or Gender Forum, while they are too young for gender guesses, someone might know the breed by colouring etc.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you include your general location on your profile, this will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
