I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week articles which I have found to be a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group. This one might be of particular interest to you:
Topic of the Week - Getting Started, Keeping Chickens

This article may help with a decision on breed: Pickin a Chicken

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock when they arrive, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Greetings CuriousQueen,

Hi, I bought a beginner janome. I think it is a 2012. It is easy to use. I have it figured out. It is sewing that is the hard part.

Apparently you are much more interesting than anything I can say in this little box..so Welcome! I do want to learn how to make chap stick and soap though with my daughter.
I made some coffee and mint lip balm. I know most would have done chocolate and mint, but it turned out great! It is super easy. Y’all will have a great time.
To start you can get kits to try lots of different fun things before committing to buying larger quantities. Then you can start developing your own yummy recipes!
It is wholesalesuppliesplus
I hope it was ok to share that.
