Congratulations on your upcoming flock and the new digs your dad built for them. I got my first (and only) Bielefelder last year, a hen that I'm quite happy with.

I think poodles are great dogs who are too often forced to wear hairdos that don't do them justice. Bet yours have sensible styles!
