New to the duck scene

Does Brewers yeast have enough Niacin in it for the larger ducks. I read somewhere that adding it to the feed was enough, but like you said they are large ducks.

You might also enjoy setting free a handful of crickets for the ducklings if you have them in a kiddie pool. Good for niacin and great entertainment.

That's a great idea! I love watching the Perkins forage and chase bugs. I'm sure it would be hilarious to watch ducklings chase crickets around

Yea it's pretty good. You just have to make certain the crickets are small enough and the ducklings are awake/aware when you let loose the food

I use Nutritional Yeast in my ducks feed since it is better than the Brewer's Yeast. Also, when you do start introducing you will need a barrier so they can see but not touch. The young girls will need to be separated from the drakes until they are old enough to mate. Oh and

Just wanted to thank everyone who gave me advice. Ducklings arrived this morning and are settling in to there new home. Definitely going to have to size up their pen faster than I thought, haha. The cardboard box is just until we get the dog pen set up and we figured the box would be hotter for the first few days
