Hi all. My name is Lisa and my husband is Bill. We are first time chick owners. We just got 8 Rhode Island Red pullets and so far, so good. We bought a home in the most perfect valley in Utah just about a year ago and thought it was finally time to make it officially a farmhouse. Look forward to reading through all these great posts and learning from all of you. Thank you for freely giving of your experience to those of us just starting out.

In the mean time don't be shy about asking questions or commenting on threads that interest you, most people here are willing to give non judgemental, caring info or point you in the right direction so you can get quality information. You will find new friends, and not just helpful words. We love sharing any stories you are comfortable with sharing and pictures are always welcome. Pictures are very helpful when you have a problem as well. So jump in and enjoy the fun, you may find this site an addiction as are the chickens.
