Hi all! My name is Jessica and I’m new to BYC and new to chicken raising.
In my flock, I currently have 6 8-week old Pullets. 1 buff orp, 1 Isa brown, 2 RIR, 2 marans. I lost a white silkie roo to a fox just a week ago, and my girls, kids and I are still devastated.
In addition to these feathered friends, we have 2 pekin ducks. They want nothing to do with the chickens. Lol.
Also, in my non-feathered flock, my hubby and I share 3 children (15, 11, 9).
