Hello everyone


(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens, I got my chicks back in late May of this year.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 7 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
1 welsummer/ 5 leghorns/ 1 black australoop which reminds me we have suspicions that we have a rooster, the chicken is quite different from the other chickens. We could be wrong since im new to having my own flock. Let me know what you all think.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the company of the chickens, they’re so smart and each of them has their own personalities.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy cooking and baking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 dogs, 2 pit bulls and one chihuahua.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I have seen the site come up a number of times while researching before I had gotten my chickens months ago. And it seems like a very resourceful site and found myself coming back to the site and figured I should join : )View attachment 3650309
