I'm guilty of visiting this site for two years and finally decided to join. I'll accept my place at the bottom of the pecking order...be gentle!

Lots of us have gleaned information from BYC for sometime before joining. Seems like when ever you google a question about raising poultry, you are lead right here.

Great that you finally joined and because you admitted your guilt, you have now risen from the lowest in the pecking order to somewhere in with the comedians of the flock!

Thanks for your reply! I will join the others in here that know absolutely nothing about chickens, I'm assuming that it's a small group of men like me who start out with visions of chickens holding feathers and dancing the funky chicken...only to find out that they don't care for wedding music at all.

You might want to do some reading in our learning center here on BYC. LOTS of good reads on all the aspects of poultry keeping from building the coop, raising your new babies, feeding and keeping them healthy...
