What an awesome way to start a chicken family!

We had a pretty bad couple of rainy days up here and my coop was visited by something that really spooked my young flock. Yesterday I took a head count and discovered I was down a chicken. Today I went out and my head count was correct...but that was because a chicken I had never seen before had decided to fill the spot! I just shrugged and went about my business. Apparently it was a pretty good storm!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful welcome! I'm sure I'll be on here asking a ton of questions. Thank you to whomever warned me about TSC. I didn't ask any employees for help but got the food based on what I read online. I typically don't trust the workers as a few have asked me questions! A little scary when the people who work there ask their customers questions.
