I've frequented the site for a good while, especially when I was incubating eggs, but it never occurred to me to check out the forums. Silly me! So here I am, ready to hobbknob with the birdfanciers.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens briefly as a child, then recently became in charge of a whole flock when moving to my boyfriends organic farm.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Some where in the neighborhood of 20-30

3) What breeds do you have?
I'm really not sure what most of them are. Mutts of one variety or another for sure! I know we have Americana/EE bantams, Dominique, Welsummer, New Hampshire Reds, and a pair of what I believe are Sebright bantams.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I was google searching for a place to buy eggs way back in my college days. (Like that's so long ago!)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like scifi and fantasy books, computer games and picking peas!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live on a small farm with my boyfriend and his family along with five geriatric goats, a flock of ornery geese and sever hives of bees.
