Hello all!
I have a few friends here in the Wasatch Front area that have chicken tractors and I am very interested in trying one myself. I have started raised box gardens in the last two years and I believe chickens are my next venture into the urban farm experiment. I live in Salt Lake City, which has recently codified ordance to make raising urban chicken legally easier as long as one follows the rules.
I haven't selected any hens yet as I am still in the planning stage on the building of my tractor, also I have about 1800 sq. feet of lawn that I plan on allowing the chickens access to.
So for now I am just reading the many pages of information here as I learn what to do before pulling the trigger.
Thanks for listening, and for the access to the info on these pages.
