New to the forum. I have kept chickens for 25 years, first in Minnesota and now in Massachusetts

I have too many roosters at the moment since I let a broody hen sit on eggs last summer. The father is our large Buff Orpington and the eggs came from our Aracana hen (blue eggs). Now I have 2 extra handsome roosters and would like to find good homes for them in eastern Mass. I only have 7 hens at the moment so too many roosters are not good for them!

Welcome to BYC! Best wishes on relocating the extra roos. I currently have a 3:5 ratio but plan on using tie outs for the boys if I observe excessive fighting or harmful breeding. My wife will not permit me to cull so that is the best compromise I could come up with.
