Hi, I have been reading the forum and decided to join today. I am from South Eastern Ohio.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I began raising chickens in 2019
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 46 hens (37 are mature and laying), 2 Roosters and 2 female turkeys
(3) What breeds do you have?
Multiple breeds. White silkies, black tailed Japanese bantam, Chochin. I can't remember the rest of the breeds at this moment. Old age, lol.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I find it peaceful to sit in the coop and watch them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hunting, fishing, working, spending time with grandchildren.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have 6 dogs, 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren so far.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
