Hi all, new as a member, though I have searched info here for a long while. Finally settled in our property and started raising a new flock! 1 have 8, 5 week old chicks (2 BCM, 3 SLW, 3 BO) they will be due to move into their new coop next week. These have been my first chicks raised from day old. I am very excited for my ladies...and at least one gent.

Meet the gang, they are lovely lap chickens. Since chicken math is real, I suspect I will be adding more next year...coop was built with growth in mind LOL

Thank you! Years ago, I would have never guessed how much I enjoy these silly birds. Most days I look like the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2...except I am covered in chicks. I find them truly delightful.
