New to the group not to chickens :)

I have been raising chickens since I was a little girl with my family. We usually raised meat birds and layers but as I grew and started my own flock I realized I wanted them as pets. I have 13 breeds and a mixed flock of regular sized chickens and bantams. My favorite chicken is my house chicken Thorin, she is a beautiful Mille Fleur D’uccle. I love all my chickens and they all love me. I have a nice little 3 acre farm on the prairies of Colorado were my chickens all free range and mingle with my dogs. I have been happily married for the past 16 years to my best friend and we have two beautiful children together! My kids love my chickens too and we are always eager to learn more about them. I love just watching them, it is like watching my own personal Soap Operas LOL! Thank you for adding me to the group!

Me and the missus have been married 24 years this year and wish we had 3 acres to turn our chickens loose onto. With the neighbors dogs floating around they would never last. This is me being envious in NC....
