New to the group

Hello there! I am a wife and mother. We have 4 growing kids. We have just started our own little backyard farm a couple years ago. I grew up on my papaw's large farm and wanted the same for my family. There's ALOT to learn, but so far we love every bit of it! So we are more than open to any and all advise out there! Thanks!

If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

Oh, yes! @Smuvers Farm is so right! Definitely have a first aid kit! Ventilation is key too! Especially in the winter. It prevents frostbite. Chickens are happy as can be in the cold. The problem is drafts and too much moisture in the air.
