New to the group

Hello all. I am new to this group. I just recently started raising chickens. Right now we have 5 chickens. We had seven to begin, but the two Australorps I had(were supposed to be hens) decided to crow and we had to get rid of them because of the noise ordinance. They are only 16 weeks, so no eggs yet to have confirmed. I now have two Isa Browns, two spotted sussex and a light Brahma. The sussex and brahma were not sexed and I believe the brahma might be a rooster. He/She has started to crow. Is it common to have crowing hens or are they just continuing what the first hen started. I've been getting rid of them one at a time because one will crow...I'll get rid of it and then another will crow. I am now on my 3rd chicken that has started crowing. Here is a pic of the 12 week old brahma...hen or Roo?
