New to the group.

Hi I am rejoining this group after 7 years, I have got baby chicks again! I live alone so I only have 4 chicks. I have two Speckled Sussex’s and two Russian Orloffs, bad time to be Russian poor girls! I live in Florida and am an avid gardener. I feel like a beginner again so I have lots of questions, thankful this forum exists.

Congratulations on the new chicks and returning to BYC!

I have no experience with Russians, although they look lovely in photos. I have a Speckled Sussex, Bronwyn, who is especially curious about anything I'm trying to do and will make my work more difficult by "helping" me. I'm sure she means well.

Good luck with your garden. Weather warm enough to plant is still several weeks away up here. What do you have the most success in growing? I love a fresh tomato and try to plant as many as I have room for every year.
