Hello, my name is Carl and I have been looking at BYC for awhile now and finally registered. I have enjoyed looking at the different styles of coops. There is quite a variety and some talented chicken coop builders out there. I grew up on a farm in northern Utah and raised chickens as a kid. I enjoyed getting a batch of 25 or so and spent alot of time in the grain room of our dairy barn watching and taking care of them. I am living in Arizona now, and just recently decided I needed to get me some "backyard chickens". So today I did. I got 6 americauna chicks today at a local pet and feed store. I have a little set up for now and will be getting the coop with a run built soon. I enjoy this website and the great information available.
