Hi Michael! I currently have Rhode Island Reds and New Hampshire Reds.
I am thinking maybe Cochins, Bantams, Wyandottes, or Orpingtons. One of my daughters loves the idea of having a lavender Orpington...lol.

Lavender Orpingtons are gorgeous birds and Orpingtons in general are very calm and gentle birds and decent layers as well. I have a few Buff Orpingtons in my flock and I don't think you or your daughter will be disappointed with them. Good luck with you flock.
