I've used this site for a few months now but just got around to signing up. I get a lot of information off of here. I have a farm in KY. Right now we've got 31 chickens, 8 ducks, 3 geese, 6 cows, 2 horses, 2 hound dogs, a donkey named Nuisance.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Make yourself at home here on BYC and welcome to our flock!

The donkey has definately earned his name, lol. Although it might should have been Houdini... I have 13 Buff Orpingtons, 10 Silver Grey Dorkings, 6 Dominiques and two oddballs, one was our free rare chick from mcmurray, he's a Buff Cochin, the other is a White Brahma we saved from a hatching project at a local school. Not sure on the sex of that one yet. My 12 year old has made a pet out of it. I`ll have to get pictures.

You have a nice mixed flock. I like the beautiful coloring of the Buff Orpingtons and their calm, gentle temperament, and for these reasons I keep several of them in my flock. I'll look forward to seeing your pictures. Good luck with your flock.
