Ok, my hens are laying, the kids wanted to let the first few eggs stay and see if they hatch, I have never seen the chikens sit on them, can I bring them in in an incubator? If they do hatch do I put them back in the house with the hens or am I raising them inside? Sorry, very new to this...

A hen goes broody when she feels like it and leaving the eggs in the nest won't make her broody, you'll just get old stinky eggs. You can incubate them if you want providing that they are fertile. What breed(s) of chickens do you have? Some are more likely then others to go broody. If you hatch in an incubator you'll also have to brood the chicks. If you put them in with the hens the hens not only won't take care of them, they'll also likely try to kill them.

Ok, that makes sense, the hens are Black Langshens (sp?) and the roosters are Heinz 57
