(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am brand spanking new! I have wanted to get a coop and start this journey for the last few years. Excited to get rolling.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0
(3) What breeds do you have? n/a
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? n/a
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am a big snowboarder in the winter, love to hike and camp in the summer. I also love indoor plants! I have a 5 bed garden (10ft x 4 ft)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a corgi/heeler mix that barks a lot.. but he's scared of . I also have an 8 mos old daughter! So need to have chickens that get along with kids as I'd like to raise her helping with the coop!

I heard about BYC in a sustainable living Slack Channel at my company! I am excited to learn!

In my experience some roosters don’tbehave well so with a toddler I might want an all hen flock
