new to this and planning to get gambles quail

I live in arizona. Is it legal to keep gambles quail if they are native to where i live? Do i need a license to keep them? What do i feed gambles quail? Etc

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Yes, you need a license to keep any quail Native to this country. You can not raise Gambels without a license. Wild Gambels bring great joy to the out of doors, but they are not a good beginners quail to keep. They are VERY nervous and skittish. They do not do well in small cages and need to be kept in pairs only. They can be difficult to raise, so do your research on them before you dive in.
