New to this flock

[Texas Chick]

Hi, everybody. I've been looking at this website for a few weeks now. Everybody here is informative and friendly. I'm looking forward to becoming one of the flock.
I've ordered some chicks and so I decided to start posting and become an active part of this community. The chicks are due Tuesday morning. I've ordered 12 Austrolorps and 12 RIR. I already have 19 hens and a rooster. They're mixed breeds-some Austrolorp, some Araucanas, and some mongrels. I'm no stranger to chickens but I don't know much about chicks. I guess I'm fixing to learn.
Anyhow, I love this little chicken community and I'm looking forward to regular posting.
