New to this forum

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I don't have any chickens now. I'm very interested in learning about how to raise and keep them. My family had chickens when I was a boy. My job was to feed and water them and whatever needed to be done. I'm 73 now and my wife really does not want me to have any. I'm still wishing I could have some while I'm still young.

I tried to start a flock a few years ago. I wound with bee hives! The wife thought that would be less work. I just got honey. I sold all of my equipment for what I had in it with a couple of colonies of bees. I think I would like chickens better. I like eggs and the meat. I know it's easier to buy it at the store. Chickens are cool. I would like to try them.
