Just picked up my first 6 ladies this past weekend.
They are some sort of Barred Rock X Rhode Island Red / Aracuna mix born in mid March 2013.
I have a nice approx 30' x 40' run and a new coop with 4 nesting boxes for em.

I found backyard chickens because 9 times out of 10 when you google a question about chickens, there's an answer at the top of the page from BYC!
