You could candle them. If you haven't done this ever, you just need a very bright flashlight, or some even use their cell phone flashlights and be in a dark room. See if you can see any movement.

I had three hens this year hatch out only one chick. One even gave her chick up for adoption to the other mom. I hope the duckling grows up happy and healthy!

Hello everyone, my name is Mary and I have just joined. I have had chickens and ducks for a couple years but this is the first time one of my ducks has been sitting on eggs and one has hatched. She has been moving her nest around the coop and she has has not had another hatch for about a week, its just the one chick.

Welcome!!!! Do you know if the others are fertile or alive?
