Hey my name is Elyse and I have been raising broiler chickens for about 5 years now. I recently got some duck eggs from a friend in town who had a duck lay eggs in her yard. They were putting in a new fence where the nest was and the mother duck never returned to the nest. Anyways she asked if I would like to hatch them. I have never done this before and plan on posting some pictures and asking some questions.

Thanks I am kind of worried about them because it is day 28 and nothing is hatching or pipping that I can tell

Depending on breed ducks take longer to hatch - also the eggs may have gotten cold when the mama disappeared, which would slow down hatch date. As long as none are "weeping" or cracked or starting to stink - give them more time.

Do you have them in an incubator with proper humidity and heat?

Welcome to BYC!!!
