They are Wood Ducklings, most likely wild, it would be best to contact either your fish and game department or bring them to your local wildlife rehabilitator.

I know in my state they were almost extinct, don't know if that goes for everywhere.. But we are not allowed to keep them in general. I think you have to permission from your town and/or a permit. That's how I do it

not sure on the laws here in Louisiana but will check didnt know the type thanks...do you need a side shot or what?? I have a few posted already if that helps

so for the moment what would be best to feed a wood duckling(which I named grapes for the time being after the duck song) until I can get more suitable arrangements?? I read about chic feed with yeast on top but not sure any suggestions???
