New to this

Hello,

I have 11, 4 week old Easter Eggs chicks and was very happy to find this resource. I am wondering if it is possible to hang netting from a cable and use spikes to anchor it to the ground for a day time wondering area. We have an outdoor run but looking for someway to protect chicks from hawks while they putter around the yard during nice days. Thinking of trying to do an aviary type net tent thing. Could this work?

Any input appreciated.
