Hi Shawn! A big welcome from Toledo, Ohio. We got our ladies a week ago, they will be 8wks old on Monday. So I am in the same boat being a first time chicken owner. Before I embarked on what is proving to be an obsession, lol, I read everything. This Site is wonderful and very helpful. Good luck with your flock.
