New to turkeys have questions

OK so I ordered 15 rare Turkeys they will be delivered Friday 8/20/2010. Do I need to do anything diffrent than with chickens? Temps? I have thirty gallon totes that I plan to put five chicks per tote for the first 2 weeks and then move to a large brooder outside. I also have bought some game bird stater for them more protien. Is there anything I am forgetting?

get some chicks and turkeys grow way faster than chicks and they need to be off dirt for 6-8 weeks.....I keep mine on rubber mats and use shavings because they are easier for me and with the rubber over the dirt in dry California it never smells unless the water gets spilled and I just use the shovel to clean it up they are more delicate at first but I've always used chicks to help them with water and eating. Don't let them get wet and chilled and you'll be good to go

I used plastic totes as a brooder just once. the air temps were fairly cool so with the heat source inside I got a lot of condensation even with ventilation from the screened top. Now I have a large wooden box for large groups and use heavy cardboard boxes for small groups.
