Thanks to all for the warm welcome!

I have made a simple laying box out of cardboard in their coop/run and have a light on a timer that comes on early in the morning to try to encourage laying. I do know the previous owners had to additional light.

I never thought I would like the smaller breeds, but the whole family agrees that the D'uccle is about the cutest thing we've ever seen.
