Chirping
I had a two reds to start. Well tempered, and an egg a day each. So why not get more I thought. 9 eggs into the incubator, and 21 1/2 days later 7 eggs popped.
Waiting now for five weeks to try and figure out who’s who, I think I’ve narrowed it down to three Roos, and four hens. Also, not 100% on what they are as far as breed… from all of the chick ID charts I’m pretty sure they’re some miscellaneous Wyandotte’s, abd possibly a speckled Sussex.
I haven’t found any good picture charts on juvenile chickens. And some of the baby ones are just too darn similar for me…
anyway, it’s great to finally join, and to hopefully getting some help when needed.
thanks.
Sorry about the red light chicks… best one for the coloration.
