NEW TOO POULTRY NEED SOME ADVICE !!!!!

im lee from Liverpool England
im currently in the process of buying my first ducklings
I have a few questions

1. can u mix breeds (khaki Campbell and white Campbell)?

2.i have a small dog a shih Tzu an im hoping he gets along with the ducklings what are my chances?

3.how old are the ducks when they begin to lay?

yes you can mix them

I have done so myself


dogs are always unpredictable

personally i'd keep him away but that's your call what you do


they start to lay around 5-6 months old and lay do they
although if you get chicks now they might miss the winter and lay next feb-march
as mine did

pretty much daily
