Getting new silver laced Wyandotte roo today. Once he is with hens. When can I be sure eggs are fertilized by him and not the old roo?

You will know the eggs are 100% fertile once you have had the rooster for 2 weeks. How old is the rooster? As long as he is old enough to be mating with the hens it will take 2 weeks.

The time most use to assure that the old roosters sperm has cleared the hens system is three weeks.
