Well, the hatch was a flop, 0 for 24, I was bummed and was ready to throw the incubator away and got thinking about using it for something else. It's finally spring here in michigan, and the garden needs plants, so why not use the bator to hatch seeds. I dropped the temps to about 80, got acouple of egg carton tops with some potting soil, and sprinkled onion seeds on it, and put them into the bator. 3 days later the onions are sticking up through the soil. 5 days later they are about 2 inches high, and more are sprouting. Going to put some cucumber seeds in today, and try tomatoes.
When the eggs were in the bator I couldn't get the humidity to move past 51% with the potting soil in there the humidity is at 83, maybe the next time I do some eggs i'll put potting soil in at lockdown to jack the humidity.
