(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

- We homeschool our kids and we’ve wanted chickens for awhile, so we decided to hatch our own!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

- we have 5 right now.. we have two roosters that the city we live in doesn’t not allow us to keep.

(3) What breeds do you have?
- I’ve been told they are leghorns

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens.
- we’ve really enjoyed getting to know their personalities and learning about our new pets

(5) What are some of your other hobbies
- I love to garden and spend as much time outside in our urban 1/4 acre.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- My husband and I have three kids ages 10, 8, and 5. I homeschool the kids and my husband works from home
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- the good ole google led me here
