New Veggie Garden... send in the chickens?

I fenced in my garden when it was all harvested this year and set them loose. They have eaten everything and have tilled the whole thing for me. I have 12 of them out there. Come spring I will keep them outside but in a smaller area and plant the garden. they love it!

Sometimes it takes them a few days to "discover" the greenery---especially if it's new.

We will turn our chickens loose in our main garden soon after we have harvested all the vegetables. We still have peppers, onions and a few tomatoes. They all ready have access to our other garden, they love to scratch around and eat all the worms while I turn the soil, they just won't get off my shovel while I turn it.
