when my 9 birds were little i used a small waterer that was a bucket inverted into a red plastic resevoir. worked ok. when they got bigger i bought a bigger version (3 gal). it was IMPOSSIBLE to open or close easily, had no handle to twist it to lock, & i was forever getting nasty water spilled on me.
today i bought a 5 gal with a cap on top for easy fill. hope this works well. i'm going on a 5 day vacation in a month & want to have confidence the food & water is reliable for them.
