New watering system..but it leaks

So I just finished installing a new watering system for the flock which is hooked up to my water tower so there is always rain water avail to drink, but the cups leak.
Its the red cups with the yellow stick in the center.
Anyone know how to adjust or tighten these cups ? they are only supposed to fill when the yellow stick is moved but they are filling continuously and then overflowing.

I started with those but they didn’t fill up. I switched to horizontal nipples and no problems since

It’s a 5 gallon bucket with water nipples at the base. Nothing fancy.

I had the system with the cups as well but it leaked for me too. Hoping someone will have a solution.

Those cups have always proved problematic I have found. I now will only use the rent a cup cups that are gravity filled- they never brake and the company always sends extra cups than what I order. I would switch to these if you can

So the water comes off the roof of the aviary to the gutter to rain barrel water tower and then inside where it splits to 2 sides
One side is fine but the chicken side, well, the cups runneth over

Piece of grit in the valve seat.
Are all of them overfilling?
Need to keep the water clean for nipples and cups.

just the last one in second room.....I'll try cleaning it out to make sure there is no grit in valve and see if it stops
