What do you cover the hole with? I would be very interested to try this with an egg or two that I have.

where the air cell is I waited to day 7 when its a good size and I pull the shell of to make the air cell open but not cutting into the membrane. Then tape saran wrap over the open hole.
On day 16 I pull the wrap off and put it back on using Vaseline so when the chick starts to hatch it would just knock it off.
