zSuper worms are like meal worms only bigger (2" by 1/4" dia) they don't reproduce easily and require higher temperature year around and can't be slowed down by putting in the refrigerator.

Superworms are like giant energetic mealworms. The plump Superworms are around 2 inches long and are much more active than mealworms. Unlike mealworms, Superworms do not require refrigeration during storage and can be stored at room temperature for several weeks. Superworms are an excellent treat for birds that prefer a larger morsel than the average mealworm and their more lively movements make them a fun treat especially for chickens. Superworms do not turn into pupa or beetles and will not reproduce unless you separate each worm into their own container.
