The teacher said they should have blue/green eggs but from the education ki'm getting thanks to you all is they should be brown?

thanks in advance!!!

I guess the teacher thinks they are Ameraucana/Easter Eggers or EEs as they are called on this site. There seems to be many people, around here, that are good at identifying them and hopefully they will chime in on your post.

Welcome to BYC! I'm thinking black sex-link for the bottom two and you are correct on the top two.

With the greenish legs on the two bottom ones it's certainly possible that they are EE's and will then lay the greenish eggs. But, they look just like my black sex-links so.... ?????

The two black/red ones could be EE's, but I can't see their faces closely. Do they have fluffy feathers around their ears and chin? That's usually a pretty good indication of an EE.

I agree, I think you're right on the first two.

My girls and myself just looked up the Black Sex-link and agree they look just like those. and we are so proud that we have been thinking Julio was a rooster from day 1

I'm still slightly confused tho on how you can get diffrent types of chickens in the same batch of egg's--- do they have diffrent fathers?(that sounds so wrong LOL)

I'm sure you here it all the time but this place as a resource is awesome!
