New Year's Resolutions!

Quote:
When I first read this I thought you said "fiances"....then I was thinking what, fiances under control. Then I reread your post but it was a nice wish anyways. I was gonna send you my way.

1. get a REAL job - make more of an effort at finding one

2. actually get out there and do the things I just wish for now (erm... that comes after number 1, because I need money for this)

3. don't spend so much time online

And...

4. Doesn't really count, but beat my record on robot unicron attack!

Clean my bedroom and keep it clean

(*sheesh* it sounds like I"m 14 instead of 43!)

Too often the cedar chest at the foot of the bed & the chair nearby are covered in clean laundry needing sorted and folded. Plus, odd stuff just finds its way to mom's room for some reason?? It would really be nice to have company over and not race to shut my door - and then hope all evening that no one opens it by mistake, LOL!

Hey! Calicokat! That was a resolution of mine several several years ago. It is doable. You just have to realise that what you do not do right now while you have them in your hand, won't get done.

...And, I just plain gave up ironing.

I iron on demand, but everything is folded or hung up. Getting it hot out of the dryer and folding it has eliminated almost all ironing. That and not owning much that get perma-wrinkles.

Good luck on that. I find I do well on resolutions because I focus diligently on them until they become a habit.

And, things like dusting, I am pragmatic on, I figure it is easier to resolve to learn to live with it than to try and keep up with it.

Good luck!!

I have not decided what to do this year...There is just so much that needs improving. It really should spend less time on line... but BYC is so much fun...and a girls deserves to have fun!

To beg the Dr's. to let me go back to work(it's been over a year since the stroke). To finish the quilt that I started over a year ago or find someone who can. Get more walking in and lose some weight.
