They can hatch! At day 24 I would open them up though. Be very careful and start from the big end where the air cell is.Could they still hatch though?? I canceled them today and two eggs have little flutter in them?? I just did not know how many days is to many?!
It’s kind of a very long story and all my fault but I’m hoping there is hope for the two babies!!!
I have movement in two of them for sure!!! But you say I should open the shells??They can hatch! At day 24 I would open them up though. Be very careful and start from the big end where the air cell is.
Get a Brinsea spot check and calibrate the incubator for the next hatch. It is likely a couple of degrees too low
Opening will not delay them that much--you have to go more than an hour a day to delay a hatch. My Brinsea has a setting for periodic cooling that I set for on hour from day 8 to 18.There’s no peeping or even piping and only movement when candling them!!
I think because I opened the bator daily for a split second that I delayed them!! And should never had done that
My fault and I know to never do that again
I’m so scared to open them up. Have you done this before with your babies with no peeping or piping and no rolling in bator. Only a small flutter when I candled them today and that’s it. I had to watch so so close to even see it. Is that normal at this stage??Opening will not delay them that much--you have to go more than an hour a day to delay a hatch. It would be too low of temperatures on average over the entire hatch to make them that late.
This is how big air sacs are on the three??I’m so scared to open them up. Have you done this before with your babies with no peeping or piping and no rolling in bator. To me it looks as though they quit developing? Could be wrong....and hope I am.This is how big air sacs are on the three??
