I am getting my first flock this month.
I am getting Plymouth Barred Rocks, Easter Eggers and Silver Laced Wyandotte. We currently have 2 cats and a dog.
I wanted to get chickens so I know where my food is coming from. We purchase a lot of food locally so that we know where it is coming from.
I like to garden and crochet. I feel that it is important to use some of the skills that my grandmother would have, getting back to taking care of ourselves.
